Kentuckiana Coaliton By-Laws
Article I. - Organization Name & Colors
The organization is officially known as the “Kentuckiana Coalition.” This name has been registered with the I.R.S. and is legally binding.
The official organization colors are white, black, and yellow. The coalition patch shall be worn by all members.
Article II. - Founders
The organization was founded on April 9, 2006 by motorcycle clubs and associations from Kentucky & Indiana. The founding organizations (in alphabetical order) are:
All City Rydaz M/C (Louisville, KY & Clarksville, IN), Diamond Clusters M/C (Louisville, KY), Kentucky Motorcycle Association (KMA), Lou-Evil Psycles M/C (Louisville, KY),
Midnight Riders M/C (Louisville, KY), Night Stalkerz M/C (Louisville, KY), Presidential Riders M/C (Louisville, KY), Sharp Style Rydaz M/C (Louisville, KY),
and 2 Tha Limit M/C (Radcliff, KY).
Article III. - Mission Statement
The Kentuckiana Coalition is an association comprised of individual motorcycle and social groups dedicated to community service and committed to biker solidarity.
Our mission is to join local motorcycle and social organizations on a unified front and establish regulations of etiquette and riding protocol for bikers to follow.
Providing a supportive structure for its members across lines of difference is the ongoing function of this coalition. All riders are welcomed. “We Ride Unified”
Article IV. - Officers
Officers will hold office for a term of one year. The next Elections will be held in April 2007.
Section 1 - Director
A. To preside over all organization meetings.
B. To have general supervision over the affairs of the organization.
C. To rerepresent the organization with prestige at motorcycle/social functions and other business related occasions.
D. To assist all other officers of the organization in their records,correspondence and other activities as needed.
E. To vote as a tie breaker when necessary.
Section 2 - Vice Director
A. To perform the duties of the Director in his/her absence.
B. To work closely as an assistant to the Director in his/her presence.
Section 3 - Sergeant At Arms
A. To make sure organization meetings start in a timely fashion.
B. To make sure organization meetings flow and stay on tasks.
C. Maintain orderly conduct at all meetings, events, and functions.
D. Resolve conflicts among members.
E. Shall inform the Director and Executive Board of any actions that need to be pursued further by the Coalition.
F. Carry out disciplinary action when needed.
Section 4 - Secretary
A. To take attendance at organization meetings and functions.
B. To keep record of the minutes of the organization meeting and disperse them at every meeting.
C. To send out notices of meetings and functions.
D. To handle all organization correspondence.
E. To secure a place for organization meetings.
Section 5 - Treasurer
A. To have custody over funds and property of the organization.
B. To collect the money and dues of the organization.
C. To pay all bills incurred by the organization.
D. To prepare a budget each fiscal year to be voted on by the organization.
Section 6 - Moderator
A. To make sure meeting conversations flow as to not take up too much time.
B. To make sure conversation stay on tasks in order to tackle the situation at hand.
C. To be the voice of reason amongst misunderstanding.
Article V. - Organizational Meeting
A. All members should wear apparel (vest, t-shirt, jacket, hat, etc.) to represent their organization to other meeting attendees.
B. The regular meeting of the organization will be the 4th Sunday of each month at 5pm, unless otherwise noted by the Director.
C. The meeting location will be discussed at the meeting previous.

Article VII. - Membership & Fee's
A Club or Association wishing to join the Kentuckiana Coalition must meet the following criteria:
A. Have been in existence for at least one year before submitting an application for membership.
B. Have at least 5 members upon submittal of their application.
C. Pay an annual $120.00 membership fee and purchase Coalition patches for all members.
D. Attend two regularly scheduled consecutive meetings as a visitor.
E. Must have 5 members present at meeting in which their application is submitted.
F. Financially able to pay due’s and fee’s.
G. Able to send at least one representative to the meetings regularly.
H. Support the Coaliton's 3 Annual Events and 1 Community Service Event.
After meeting the above criteria, the club or association, shall be accepted by a majority vote amongst current/present coalition members.
The coalition founders have the option to be pay their annual fee monthly in $10.00 increments.
Article VIII. - Finance Management
The financial business of the coalition shall be conducted as follows:
A. Each club or association shall pay an annual fee of $120.00 to cover the general operation expenses of the coalition.
B. Money shall be recorded by the secretary and counted by the treasurer.
C. A monthly report of the finances shall be given.
D. A quarterly audit of the finances shall be conducted.
E. All checks must have two signatures on them from the following list (Director, Vice Director, Secretary, Treasurer, or Moderator).
Article IX. - Rules & Regulations
A. Two members from each club or association shall be selected to attend regularly scheduled meetings.
B. Respect your fellow members.
C. During Coalition activities the president or highest ranking officer of each respective club shall maintain control of its members.
Safety is a priority. The Coalition Sergeant at Arms shall maintain safety of all members in the event a club’s president
or highest ranking officers fail to address the issue.
Article X. - Probation & Dismissal
A. If a member has 3 absences with or without paying they will be placed on probation for one month, in that one month they must attend
the regular scheduled meeting and pay their dues up to date.
B. The second incident will result in a vote amongst coalition members in which they decide if dismissal or another probationary
period should occur.
C. The third incident will result in dismissal from the organization.
D. The above rules also pertain to members who regularly attend meetings, but do not pay there dues.
